5 year old boy steals and spends $105,000 from his father's safe

What do you do when your kid steals from you? A good round of spanking or grounding for a couple of weeks, right? But what do you do when your kid steals an amount of $105,000 from you? I can't even imagine what punishment a kid like this should be given. A Serbian 5 year old boy has done just this, stolen and spent the equivalent of $105,000 in cash that he found in his father's safe. What in the world could a 5 year old spend so much money on you ask? Because obviously, drugs, sex, alcohol and gambling is out of the question. Surely, toys cannot mount up to that amount. Djodja Markovic took his friends out for shopping, buying them clothes, toys, bicycles, candy, computers and games. Wow, that was an expensive shopping spree. Did he buy gold plated and diamond studded toys? His father, Slobodan Markovic got to know of his son's antics only when Djodja and his friends came home carrying dozens of shopping bags.

"I must have forgotten to lock the safe and he just saw the money and took it," said the elder Markovic. "I have asked the police to investigate because it is unbelievable that the shop owners let such a young boy do this." Let's not blame the shopkeepers for this. The father was careless and the boy has not been properly disciplined, that is the main problem here. What kind of punishment would you throw upon your child if they stole an amount of $105,000?
