Three days of De-stressing may get you MORE stressed!

The bill for 3 days of de-stressing will cost you $15,000USD. The economy's tanking, the blue chip company you're running is imploding and millions of dollars are being lost by you and the people around you. Stressful, huh?

Well, why not attack that stress the same way you've dealt with every problem facing your corporation up until now -- by throwing more money at it. If this sounds about right, then how about $15,000 for three days at an "executive resilience summit" at Moonview Sanctuary in Santa Monica -- the spa owned by former AOL Time Warner CEO Gerald Levin and his wife, Laurie Ann? A press release recently put out by Moonview sings a chorus of the billionaire blues, claiming executives are "facing possibly the toughest times in their careers." Of course they should come to de-stress at three-day workshops with one-on-one trainers that cost about as much as a really good used car.

So what do you get for your money? According to Newsweek, "the 'summits' are a mix of role-playing, personality testing, lectures and interactive group sessions that Levin says teach hard-charging executives to understand the toll that relentless over-achievement takes on their health and their personal lives."

Yeah, we know all about "relentless over achievement." And if it takes three days at $200 an hour to get us back on track, so be it. Nothing overcompensates for over achievement better than over-spending.
